Back to school. At the beginning of September, Paris becomes the world capital of interior design, with many events such as Paris Design Week and Maison & Objet.

It is in this context that the Maison LONGWY Paris takes up its quarters in the heart of the capital, on the island of the Cité, to present the latest creations of its Collections in earthenware and enamel from Longwy, and the contemporary works of its “Art Gallery” that perfectly combine Art & Craftsmanship.

Nestled in the Raphaël Bedos Gallery, a renowned gallery of popular crafts and objects of curiosity, the Maison LONGWY Paris offers to discover or rediscover, in offbeat mode, its beautiful, often unique, artefacts that highligh the vitality and contemporaneity of earthenware and enamel from Longwy, executed in the purest tradition of handmade work of art and decoration. “As an expert and an antique dealer, I am very happy to see the artistic renewal of the Emaux de Longwy, with original and eclectic creations and, above all, with a profound respect for authentic, original craftsmanship” “says Raphaël Bedos.

The Maison LONGWY Paris continues to value this creative passion by merging tradition and modernity in order to instill a new breath in this unique art form, inscribed in the Inventory of the Intangible French Cultural Heritage. The artisans, artists and partners of LONGWY Paris are proud and happy to showcase the ancestral know-how, unique craftsmanship, and exceptional heritage of Longwy, thanks also to demonstrations carried out by our artisans.

As part of its mission to enhance and reveal this unique artisanship to a broader audience, the Maison LONGWY Paris will also present some rare, exceptional and emblematic historical pieces from Longwy.

The exhibition is open until Saturday 16 September 2017 from 11:00 to 19:00. Raphael Bedos Gallery, 41 Quai de l’Horloge, Pont Neuf, Paris 1st.
